Former Imo State governor and ex-Biafran officer, Achike Udenwa has shared how a tense dispute over rifles during the Nigerian Civil War was resolved with an unusual compromise crossing a river with weapons stripped of all ammunition.

Speaking on the Edmund Obilo Show on Splash FM 105.5, Udenwa recalled that after days hiding in the bush near Ahuda, Rivers State, he and his comrade arranged for boatmen to ferry them to Biafran-held territory, owever, the boatmen refused to allow them aboard with rifles, fearing this could draw attention or provoke Nigerian soldier….CONTINUE FULL READING>>>>
