I Saw Two Of My Children Dead, And People Were Crying And Shouting Across The Village- Resident

 

Danladi Usman, a member of the community in Abuja where gunmen attacked, killing over 10 people, said he saw his children in a pool of blood, and also people in the village were crying and shouting.

As reported by the Daily Trust News, Danladi Usman said, “I later came out and saw two of my children lying in a pool of blood, and I became confused because people were crying and shouting across the entire village. At that moment, I did not know what to do.”

According to Usman, the gunmen entered the village through the bush path, bringing along with them wielding weapons and cutlasses. He said that they attacked some houses and opened fire on some of the villagers. Usman said the attack by the gunmen took the villagers unaware because they have never had any dispute with anyone in the community for years.
