In an interview with The PUNCH, Ossai clarified that this gesture was a personal initiative and not sourced from the state government.
He addressed rumors regarding potential romantic interests, stating, “I’m a married man and a faithful person. I would never involve myself in such things. I am merely offering harmless assistance to her.”
He emphasized that his offer was made because Emmason has shown remorse for her actions, saying, “Whatever happened has happened. She went to Kirikiri prison and has now returned. It’s time to support her.”
