Just In: Tinubu Nearly Attacked In Kaduna [Video]

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was nearly attacked while delivering his speech in Kaduna today (Thursday).

Naija News reports that the President was in the northern state to commission some projects done by the Una Sani-led administration.

While delivering his speech, an unidentified individual made a move at the President’s position but he was quickly tackled by Tinubu’s bodyguards.

Meanwhile, Naija News had earlier reported that Tinubu commended the Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, for his developmental projects and impacts on the people of the state.

Speaking during the commissioning of the 300-bed hospital at Millennium City, Tinubu said Kaduna State has witnessed progress under the leadership of Governor Sani.

The newly commissioned project was named Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital.

“We have witnessed progress; you have prioritized people. I’m very proud of what you’re doing,” President Tinubu told the state governor.

Furthermore, President Tinubu commended Sani for turning what he described as a toxic environment in Kaduna State into one of progress and development.

“Uba Sani has performed wonders and changed the environment from a previous toxic, uncontrollable environment, to a state of life, progress, and development. I say thank you, my comrade,” the President stated.
