In a stunning Premier League transfer twist, Chelsea goalkeeper, Kepa Arrizabalaga has completed a surprise move to Arsenal.
The Gunners activated a modest £5 million release clause to sign Kepa, who is expected to serve as a backup to fellow Spaniard David Raya.
Kepa, who spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, had long been tipped to leave Stamford Bridge permanently.
His move to the Emirates makes him the second Spanish player to join Mikel Arteta’s side this summer, following the arrival of midfielder Martin Zubimendi.

Meanwhile, in France, newly promoted Ligue 1 club Paris FC have completed the signing of Nigeria international Moses Simon from Nantes in a €7 million deal.
The 29-year-old winger signed a three-year contract after six seasons with Nantes, where he became a fan favorite for his speed and creativity.
Simon contributed eight goals and 10 assists in 32 league matches last season, underlining his importance to the squad.
Simon initially joined Nantes on loan from Spanish club Levante in the 2019/20 campaign before making the move permanent.
His signing is seen as a major statement by Paris FC as they prepare for life in France’s top flight, with further reinforcements expected before the new season begins.
