Kumuyi-What I Have Done Since 2009 After The Devil Caused My First Wife To Die When I Was In Retreat

“I was preaching here on Saturday, 11th April 2009, and the devil worked on my absence,” he said. “My wife was at home because she had challenge, but I came and I was driving out the devil there… but I didn’t remember to close the spiritual door that nobody will sneak into that place” (01:22:11).

After concluding the faith clinic that morning, Kumuyi received devastating news.”When I finished the faith clinic that morning, I received a message that my beloved wife was gone. Well, I ran to IBTC. I saw it had happened, and I met some people there praying, and the Lord assured me—I should let it go. Let that go. Don’t bother about it. So I let that go,” he recounted (01:22:11).

Despite the pain, the renowned preacher found strength to move forward. “But from that day, I said—what did I say? I said that one happened, this other one will no more happen,” he declared (01:23:35). “You know, since that time, for me to revenge on the devil, I’ve gone many places since she left.”

In a powerful declaration of spiritual triumph, Kumuyi highlighted the global impact of his ministry in the years that followed. “I’ve covered most of the local governments in Nigeria. I’ve gone to almost all the nations of Africa. I’ve gone to all the continents of the world. Blind eyes have opened. Deaf ears have opened. The lame had risen up and walked. And now I’m getting to another level—the dead has now been raised” (01:23:35).

Concluding his message with a firm stance of faith, he told the congregation:

“I come to tell you this: that gone, they are gone. Water under the bridge. That gone is gone. All that is gone” (01:24:53).
