
The Nigeria Rugby Football Federation (NRFF) has unveiled the national team’s new kits and 12-man squad ahead of the 2025 Rugby Africa Men’s Sevens Series.
The series is set to take place at the Labourdonnais Sports Club in Mauritius from June 21 to 22.
The stylish new kits, manufactured by British sportswear brand Umbro, were revealed via the federation’s official 𝕏 account.
“Big news! Umbro has officially released the Nigeria Rugby jerseys for public purchase on their website. Now you can proudly wear the same gear as the Stallions. Get yours and rep Naija rugby in style,” the post read.
There are two variants of the new jerseys. The home strip features Nigeria’s iconic green with a touch of black on the neckline, while the away kit is a clean all-white outfit highlighted with green accents on the sleeve ends.
Each jersey is priced at £90 (approximately ₦188,100 as of Tuesday’s exchange rate) and is available for public purchase on Umbro’s website.
The Nigerian Stallions, coached by Steve Lewis, are gearing up for intense competition as they face rugby powerhouses across the continent.
The NRFF also announced the team list for the tournament, which includes captain Kitto Oliver leading a dynamic lineup comprising:

Nigeria is placed in Pool B alongside South Africa, Burkina Faso, and Zambia. The Stallions will be looking to make their mark in a competitive field that also includes top African teams such as Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Tunisia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and host nation Mauritius.
The ultimate prize for the tournament champion is a spot in the prestigious 2025 World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series.
